Mount Waylon is SoundWaves attempt at honoring an icon. SoundWaves views Waylon as the Godfather of outlaw country and much more when it comes to cultural influence. They felt strongly that they had to do the best job they could depicting him in a way that was larger than life. Taking a nod from Mount Rushmore, SoundWaves decided to create a piece that inserts Waylon on his own mountain. The details of "Mount Waylon" were worked on for several months. Every element has been thought through, every color is there for a reason, and their goal was capturing the essence of outlaw Waylon while simultaneously depicting an active, authentic, yet simplistic atmosphere surrounding the legend.
